The Children’s Ministry of Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church exists to glorify God by teaching children the Word of God, evangelizing them, and encouraging and equipping parents to bring up their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We seek to accomplish our mission through:
Staffed by our youth director and fully equipped leadership team, our ministry is dedicated to helping students in grades 7-12 grow in the likeness of Christ. We accomplish this with a variety of activities, such as:
The goal of the College & Career department at Shelbyville Mills Baptist Church is to develop within each student a personal faith and a deeper love for God, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is vital that as a student begins his or her own career, they deepen their own personal faith and love for God. As personal faith grows, we will make disciples of Jesus Christ while dealing with the issues of college and future career. We accomplish these goals through the following activities:
The Church is organized into Small Groups to evangelize the lost, equip the saved, and provide fellowship to meet individual needs. Our Small Groups meet every Sunday Morning at 9:00am.
Classes are offered for preschool, children, youth, college and career, women, and men.
